The nighttime works from the 27th April have now been cancelled and a new date of the 8th May for 4 Days (Tuesday to Friday) from 9.30 to 4.30 has been sent out to residents in the road. But this news may not have reached everyone.

I had asked for the same conditions as before: with night working to prevent bus and business disruption- but to no avail.

The question is- will those white lines painted on the road last until the 8th May?

I have been told that the first contractor can now longer do this work so a second contractor has been appointed, and the crack filling is noisy. But I know that the bus and businesses affected are challenging the times, so the final arrangements are uncertain.

And when the patching is done; how long will they last?

The road was built as a country lane alongside the farms. These holes will keep appearing.

The drainage still isn’t good enough. I’m following that up again.

Rain runs down the road rather than into the ditches and water is still collecting in rainy times.

Until HCC build this road properly, seriously big potholes and side defects will continue to appear.
