The Lib Dems are calling for the Mugabe WHO appointment to be revoked.

Responding to the appointment of Robert Mugabe as Goodwill Ambassador for the World Health Organisation, Liberal Democrat MP Tom Brake said:

“Robert Mugabe is one of the worst choices for a goodwill ambassador out there.

“Mugabe is a dangerous man whose corruption has worsened the lives of Zimbabweans. The idea of giving him any kind of credit for his appalling record on health is truly embarrassing.

“This is an appalling decision that should be revoked at the earliest possible opportunity.”
