In this article RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) are asking Robert Jenrick MP, Housing and Local Government Minister, to think again about his proposals, due out this week, to remove the need for a local planning system.
Liberal Democrats want to build Communities, not just homes..
…Ironically Robert Jenrick MP’s title in the Conservative Cabinet role includes the word Communities- but this legislation would destroy the sense of community that we all want to see.
Today I met with colleagues at WCC and a local firm to plan how we can get the importance of the message about the Local Plan in change and control of development within the planning system.
I for one, await the Jenrick announcement with trepidation.Leave a comment
