‘These grants enabled the organisations to make sure their costs didn’t grow as queries arose, and now the land is in local hands-which is a good outcome for local people’
The Gratton Trust still leases the land, but now from the Parish Council, and on a sunny weekend in March, Jackie joined a team of volunteers to help Avril and Miranda, a Gratton Trustee, to plant wildflowers there.
The morning crew had done a great job and by the time the afternoon crew had finished, the snowdrop glade, and new bank of primroses looked amazing!
Thanks to everyone involved.
