I am devastated by the result but I am angry too.

Our MP’s response to the result: telling us to ‘keep calm’, sounds rather like the sign a coffee mug!
I note that he has signed the petition to debate the case for another referendum, this time with more favourable conditions.
Frankly, he and his party- and his then Prime Minister, should have thought of that before!

If he’d had the foresight to realise that in this country, there are a lot of people so affected by the Government cuts that they chose to use their vote as a protest, he would not have allowed the first referendum to take place at all.

We vote in our MP’s to make decisions at that level for us. We do not expect that once a referendum hss taken place, they realise what damage has been done, and ask their leaders to think about it and try again!
