We all get the picture- BDUK and HCC are aiming for 90% superfast broadband by 2015 and 95% by 2017.
But what about the last 5%, living in mainly rural communities?
Or those few at the end of the line in urban areas?

Will they ever get superfast broadband?

That’s the question MP’s asked the bosses at BDUK- and they don’t have the answer.
We are all tax payers- and businesses pay business rates too.
We are entitled to parity of coverage. This enquiry should release more ££’s from the Treasury, and there are ideas out there- but the suggestion to provide cash for satellite isn’t necessarily the answer either.

Well said Jackie. I tried to sign up to register my interest in super fast broadband but my details weren’t accepted despite filling in every section meticulously. I wonder if this is a deliberate ploy to then be able to say there is no demand from my little village?!
